Slim And Light

The Vivo V11 feels unnaturally light in the hands, once you get it out of the box. With its tapered back and chamfered front screen, it feels nice to hold in one hand. Speaking of one hand, the screen is usable with one hand even while measuring 6.41-inches. Icons are within easy reach, and settings are not too far from any finger swipe.

Teardrop The Notch

Unlike many of its contemporaries, Vivo did not put in a big notch on the V11. Hence, you get more screen from edge-to-edge. The bezel around the screen is very minimal so you can enjoy more of your content without any pesky notch or chin. In the notch lies the 25MP selfie camera, full of magical selfie filter goodness.

Slow In-Screen Fingerprint

On the Vivo V11 is the industry’s first in-screen fingerprint scanner. Thanks to the use of a Super AMOLED screen, the scanner can see through the pixels to scan the fingerprint. A novel feature indeed. However, the scanning speed of the scanner is slower than capacitive-based fingerprint scanners we have in the market, so it takes an extra second to log into your phone. The facial recognition scanner is speedy however – instantly recognises your face in a flash.

Decent Imaging

At the back is a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 12MP main sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. The main camera captures pictures pretty good in most lighting conditions. Even at low-light, the camera performed well. Extreme low-light is where the sensor falters – but that is true with most phone cameras in the market. All in all, a very decent camera to carry around.
