Enjoy the Basic
This 2-in-1 tablet is build around for to target users with very basic usage of computer such as word processing, social media and running some basic apps. It can still handle moderate multi-tasking but not advisable to do so as it will slowly the device’s performance and you do not want that to happen. There are cameras and mic built-in for performing video call or meeting, since it is VGA front camera, don’t expect much out of it, it is all to cover the basic.
Give Me Back My Freedom!
One of the thing I’m not happy with it is low storage capacity because storing and playing back video files is limited. Second thing I dislike is only one miniUSB port available, although there is a microUSB to standard USB converter, it doesn’t look neat when there is a cable stick out of the device. After plugging in a mouse, if and when you needed it, there is no extra port for flash disk.
Don’t Use Back the Old Wheel !
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel but you also don’t have to use back the old wheel. The detachable keyboard doesn’t lift up to certain angle like how it works with Microsoft Surface, which is a slight disappointment. When the detachable keyboard is deployed, the angle held by the case for the display is fixed; this is rather inconvenient to adjust to the device instead of device adjusting to you. The way the casing deploy is fancy but it isn’t user friendly.
It is Still Worth It
The goods and bads are there, my conclusion is, it is worth the money. Its performance is considered acceptable for an entry level device compared with other entry level devices I have tested. Its design may not be have the ‘wow’ factor and have weaknesses that I have mentioned but at an entry level price point like this it is good enough. Also, not to worry about the 32-bit operating system as it is fine with only 2GB of ram, it is designed with specification that cohesive with each other.
