realme Malaysia is set to officially launch their latest smartphone, the realme 6i via a Facebook live stream on realme Malaysia’s Facebook page on 16th April at 8:30PM.
The only information that realme Malaysia has given us, is that the new design is inspired by Naoto Fukusawa’s ‘special inspirations’ from ordinary life, with two colour variants: White Milk and Green Tea.
The White Milk is well, inspired by milk to give the device a ‘silky and very smooth look’ and the Green Tea variant is inspired by nature.
Another spec that realme announced on their Facebook page is that the realme 6i will be the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with the Helio G80 chipset. This will help out gaming on the device with better image quality.
The phone has already released in other parts of the world, so we have an understanding on some of the other specs the phone will feature. It comes with a 6.5-inch mini-drop display, 5000mAh battery, 3/4GB RAM variants, up to 128GB of storage, and a 48MP led quad-camera setup. Overall, it’s not a bad deal.
In Myanmar, the device was priced at KS 249,900 (~RM760) for the 3GB/64GB variant and KS 299,900 (~RM 912) for the 4GB/128GB variant. So we should expect it around that price range. But then again, I guess we’ll know more on April 16 so stay tuned for updates on realme’s latest offerings and more!
