realme, the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, has announced the realme Photography Awards in conjunction with the launch of its GT 8 Pro. Running until 30 June 2026, the competition invites photographers globally to showcase their creativity, offering over RM265,000 in cash prizes, along with the latest realme smartphones and opportunities for brand collaborations.
The awards feature four categories: Real Street Moments, Real Travel Moments, Real Celebration Moments, and Real Everyday Moments. Participants must submit original photos taken with realme devices, accompanied by a title and brief description, through the official realme Photography Awards website.
The initiative highlights realme’s commitment to authentic storytelling and supporting emerging talent.
Powerful Camera Technology on GT 8 Pro
The new realme GT 8 Pro boasts a 200MP Ultra Clarity Telephoto Camera, offering multiple focal lengths including 3x, 6x, and 12x zoom. Developed in collaboration with RICOH GR, the main camera features a 7P High-Transmittance Lens, reducing reflectivity to 0.2% while maintaining 97% light transmittance.
The device also excels in videography with 4K120FPS Dolby Vision, 4K120FPS 10bit Log, and 8K30FPS recording, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
