Everything about gaming has to be serious when it comes to Razer, the company that is synonymous with eSports and tournament grade gaming, takes things up a notch when it involves hardware. Having mastered the art of perfection in desktop and mobile PC peripherals the US based firm has now set sights on consoles especially for PlayStation users.
Razer has just released two new officially licensed controllers for the PS4: Razer Raiju Ultimate and Raiju Tournament Edition and new Razer Thresher headset for PlayStation. “Console games continue to set new standards for gameplay, but controller designs have been slow to evolve in step with those advancements,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer Co-Founder and CEO.
Customisation is what Razer is going for, compared to Dual Shock the multi-function buttons can be mapped to create more than 500 customised profiles, sensitivity of thumbstick can also be adjusted for precision or speedy response. And of course there’s the Razer Chroma lighting that’s syncs with the controller vibrations and other button actions. Most of the buttons can be replaced or interchangeable and comes the controller.

At the same time the gaming company has also released a specially designed headset that’s compatible for PS4, the Razer Thresher. A 2.4 GHz or a wired 3.5 mm connection that can last up to 16 hours in a single charge when in wireless mode.
The Razer Ultimate is priced at US199.99 while the Thresher headphone is US129.99
