Controlling every aspect of the game is crucial to win a tournament, in esports the situation is similar while you can master the skills to play the game, you are sometime restricted by the hardware and its limitation. While there are many expensive keyboards and mice, a true gamer prefers that’s plays to his tune.
Steps in Razer, the gaming specialist has just designed a new mouse that’s customisable to the players preference, the Razer Basilisk mouse. It comes equipped with a 5G true 16,000 DPI optical sensor, the same sensor used in tournament grade mouse and features Mechanical Mouse Switches with an industry-best 50 million click lifespan.
The custom feature comes in the form, where by the scroll wheel can be adjusted via a dial on its underside for increased or decreased resistance to fit the preferences of each gamer. Its also equipped with a removable clutch for easy access to additional mouse actions. The default clutch setting allows gamers to temporarily lower their DPI to instantaneously switch between high DPI close-quarters fighting and low DPI precision shooting and is fully programmable.
“The customisability of the Razer Basilisk sets it apart from other FPS mice, and is something that we’re incredibly proud of,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. Out in September the Basilisk will be priced at US$69.99.
