PUBG to be a Full-fledged Game Soon

PlayUnknown’s Battlegrounds, or PUBG, will soon be off the Steam Early Access and become a full-fledged game. Come 20 December 2017, version 1.0 of PUBG will be available on Steam while the early access version will be available on Xbox on 12 December 2017.

This was unveiled during last night’s The Game Awards ceremony, where PUBG was nominated for the ‘Game of the Year’ award. the 1.0 release will also bring about plenty of changes and updates to the dystopian Russian-esque island, one of which is vaulting. No longer will you be undermined by ledges, barriers and windows that are half your size. Now, you can easily vault over them.

Other updates to come with the PUBG 1.0 release will be killcams, which shows you how you died, revamped gunplay and scoping to make sniping riskier, more realistic vehicle driving without running out of fuel as much, revamped sound quality and also tons of new guns and UI tweaks to make any fan go crazy.

Most importantly, PUBG will be introducing a brand new map to all its players. It will be replacing the dystopian island filled with villages, towns and military bases with a large desert environment. Known as Miramar, we will also be saying farewell to the forests and hills of the original map. You can also check out how Miramar will look like from the trailer below.
