PSVR Now Supports 360-Degree Video on YouTube

Playstation VR owners will be glad to know that the device now supports YouTube’s 360 degree video playback feature. Before this, it was only able to support an extended full screen mode, but Sony’s obviously keen on expanding its capabilities.

If you still haven’t got the YouTube app, it can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store. 360 degree videos are popular enough for you to enjoy a considerable amount of content, and YouTube was one of the first major platforms to support it.

The PlayStation VR is available in Malaysia for RM1849. Yes, it’s expensive, but a PS4+PSVR combo is about the price of a top of the line gaming rig, so it’s not a totally unreasonable thing to go for.
