
As part of our responsibility, we as media should do anything within our capability to assist the family and authority whenever we could when it comes to cases of missing children. Quick action and fast information is extremely vital, with social media and digital platforms we as digizens can do our part by passing these messages via Whatsapp, Facebook or any other form that we are on that could make a difference in solving these cases.

Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission set up the NUR Alert just for this reason, which responsible to spread information quickly and as fast as possible to help trace missing children (below 12 years of age) who could be victims of crime or abuse. NUR Alert comes under the National Child Protection Policy and Action Plan and acts as a service to disseminate information with immediate effect to help law enforcement agencies in carrying out investigation and lead to fast arrests.
The recent case is of Nur Haqeim Ardlee B Ahmadi, who is 9 has been reported missing since 20th March in Larkin Johor, anyone with information with this regards are encouraged to share on NUR Alert as soon as possible. He was last seen wearing a black tshirt with red collar a black track suit with yellow stripe and is said to be around 125cm in height, dark hair, tanned skin with a pleasant appearance.
