As many of you PS4 owners may already know, you can now play all (there are currently 483 active games) of your favourite PS3 games on your PC thanks to Sony’s subscription-based streaming service, PlayStation Now. In the next few weeks, PlayStation is looking to further expand its catalogue of games by introducing all your favourite PS4 games for the PC.
“In the next few weeks we’ll kick off a private test with PS4 games on PS Now. If you’re an active PS Now subscriber, keep an eye on your email in case you get an invitation,” said Brian Dunn, Senior Marketing Manager for PlayStation Now.
For those of you who have no clue what PlayStation Now is, it is a subscription service that offers an ever-growing library of games for gamers who would like to game on a different platform. As it utilises cloud streaming technology, you can access an entire catalogue of games and start playing immediately without having to wait for it to download. PlayStation Now also uses cloud saves so you can start up a game on your PS4 and continue playing on another PS4 or even a Windows PC.
If you have yet to give PlayStation Now a go, you can sign up for a free 7-day trial here.
