Frustrated with your mobile communication service, annoyed with the radio emcee, Astro over billing you? Don’t just take it and let the big corporate push you around, you can make official complaints to the right authority and help make the changes.

We have all been in that situation, but Malaysians being who we are which is always accommodating and not the type to make public complains, will rather take to mamak show or social media sites to rant instead of proper channels. Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission has listed out various agencies and services rendered for the public to make their grievances heard and rightfully attended and punished if the service providers are found guilty.

There is a wide scope of areas the consumer can make a complaint on from the very often dropped calls, charged even after line termination to complex matters like phishing, fake content and online scams. In order to make an official complaints on service providers, consumers are advised to refer to  MCMC guidelines that shows procedures on making, receipts, handling and resolution of complaints in accordance to the operation license.

So simple steps to follow: 1. Contact the service provider for resolution 2. If unresolved proceed with the suggested diagram above.
