In a bid to elevate the English language proficiency among Malaysian students, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced a strategic initiative set to commence in 2024. While emphasizing the importance of Bahasa Malaysia as the national language, the Prime Minister expressed the need for a significant improvement in students’ command of English, particularly in national schools.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim underscored the pivotal role of language proficiency in the globalized world and stressed that students, especially those attending national schools, must receive additional emphasis to enhance their English language skills.
