This initiative aims to enhance public awareness and drive the adoption of 5G technology, showcasing its transformative impact on both enterprises and consumers.
Located at the TRX Exchange 106 tower, the ‘My5G Portal’ provides an engaging and interactive environment for visitors to gain insights into the potential applications and benefits of 5G technology.
Spearheaded by Ericsson, the center is equipped with cutting-edge technology demos and immersive 5G applications, highlighting the remarkable capabilities of this innovative cellular technology.
DNB’s Chief Strategy Officer, Datuk Ahmad Zaki Zahid, highlighted the center’s role in demystifying 5G technology and promoting a deeper understanding of its potential.
He emphasised Ericsson’s instrumental support in creating an immersive environment that facilitates hands-on learning and exploration.
The ‘My5G Portal’ features various sections, including ‘5G for Malaysia,’ ‘Ericsson 5G Leadership,’ ‘Enterprise and Industry Applications,’ and ‘Consumer and Home Applications,’ demonstrating the diverse capabilities and use cases of 5G technology.
The center showcases a range of compelling use cases, such as holograms, connected ambulances, smart surveillance cameras, and mission-critical communications, among others.
