We Malaysians always want our country to grow in every aspect and in every field. It’s not everyday you get to find out how Malaysia is involved in a project on an international scale so I bet you didn’t know about how these games had a little help by Malaysia’s very own Lemon Sky Studios.
A little background first, Lemon Sky Studios is a CGI studio that produces art for animation and video game titles, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They’ve actually been involved in many gaming and animation projects so for today, we are going to list down some of their latest involvement or contribution to the development of popular video games.
The Last Of Us Part II

Starting off with one of the most popular games this year, The Last Of Us Part II. Set 5 years after The Last of Us (2013), Ellie sets out for revenge after suffering a tragedy, and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict between her militia and a religious cult.
Lemon Sky Studios helped work on the environment, environment props, weapons, hero props, cut scene assets, clothes and graphic design of the game. That’s a lot of credit and honestly, I love how amazing everything looks in the game. So amazed.
Art Director Paul Wang Koong Choong shared that the studio serves as a premier production house that works closely with Naughty Dog to produce art assets as part of their games development process.
Resident Evil: Resistance

Resident Evil: Resistance is an asymmetrical survival horror game developed by Capcom. Lemon Sky Studio was responsible for creating 3D assets for characters and the environment, with artists from both our KL and Penang studios working seamlessly as a team to get the project done.
The studio shared that project leaders had many discussions with NeoBards where they went over each asset with meticulous care to ensure that everything was on track and done to the highest quality possible. As a result, their artists broke through their own barriers to reach a higher bar of quality for this project by utilising new techniques and processes.
Avengers Assemble

Their latest project on this list is the Avengers Assemble game! The game was released earlier this month.
The main storyline takes place 5 years after A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers wherein a tragedy resulted in death and destruction, and the Avengers were blamed. The team is forced to reassemble to save the world from peril in the form of A.I.M. which threatens to end the world of super powered individuals.
Lemon Sky Studios was involved in the Realistic Character Modelling and Engine of the game and I gotta say, I am in love.
Congratulations to Lemon Sky Studios for the success of these projects. If you want to more about the company and what other games or animations they helped worked on, you can visit their website HERE
