For those who have been holding back on paying their summons due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) or haven’t gotten the time to clear it, you’re in luck as the PDRM will be offering 50% on all traffic summonses paid from 18 May till 21 May.
Offenders who had received traffic summons, have 4 days to clear and can do so via online. The offer is only valid for online payments. PDRM is encouraging people to stay at home and to use the online facilities to make payment in view of Covid-19. MyeG and Rilek.com.my are the two officially appointed service providers that accepts online payment.
While all type of summons will enjoy the discount, there are exceptions. Summons involving accidents issued in 2019 and 2020 will no be included. Those currently in litigation, 2019 and 2020 OP Selamat summons, Non Compoundable status summons, related to lorries and those involving courts as well as those with warrants issued.
As the offer is for a limited time, public is urged to take this opportunity and use this window to have a clean driving record.
