PlayStation 5 Slated For March 2020 Release

We heard rumours that the PS5 will be out on March 2020. This rumour started late last year when a European developer claimed to be working on a PlayStation 5 launch game posted a file on Pastebin. Based on the report, the PlayStation 5 will either be launched March 2020 or November 2020. It is said to cost around $499 (RM2053). The new PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible with the PS4. There were also claims that the PS5 will launch with regular PS Plus and PS Plus Premium. The Premium subscription will give members the chance to play early access game betas and create private servers.

What’s new with the PlayStation 5 is that it is powered by a 7nm Ryzen 8 Core CPU, 7nm Navi architecture 14TF GPU, 24GB of GDDR6 RAM and will come with a NAND flash 2TB hard drive. Fans can also expect 8K upscaling.

The new controller, meanwhile, will reportedly have improved analogue functionality and a built-in camera for VR. In 2020, the PlayStation VR 2 will also be unveiled with a big resolution boost and improved field of view. It will come wireless with a 4 to 5 hour battery with headphones built in into the hardware

New PS5 games are said to include Gran Turismo 7, The Last of Us 2 Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn 2.
