People Are Becoming Increasingly Frustrated With The Online Payment Process. Thankfully, There Is A Solution

With the fast pace of lifestyles these days, things that should be as simple and mindless as buying movie tickets online or buying anything online for that matter can become a burden. Often times we get so caught up with work that the payment process can become a bother, well at least for me personally. With that in mind, we spoke to some members of the public to get their perspective on just how much of a hassle the online payment process can be.

On the streets of Jalan Telawi, we came across Michelle, A 26 year old PR executive who in her own words is drowning in work and has no time for anything.

“I don’t actually ever buy any kind of tickets online! *laughs* I normally get my boyfriend to purchase the tickets if we’re watching a movie. I mean, I would do it but its so leceh la, need to give your debit/credit card number all. I’m lazy to go through the hassle and feel safer not giving out my card details.”

Not all of us are that lucky.

Safwan, a 42 year old business owner with three kids on the other hand, does everything online. “At first, I wasn’t a big fan of all these online things because I wasn’t very comfortable with giving away my card (details) and all but no choice kan, so eventually I got the hang of it. One thing that I really can’t stand is having to log in to different apps to pay for different things, its 2019 you would think it’d be simpler kan? but it’s nothing compared to having to top up credit for my children, that one really pening kepala.

Rather perplexed by that, we probed further.

“Credit top ups and all I normally have to go out of my way to buy for my kids because I used to just give them money but what happened was they would end up spending that money on other things.”

The general consensus we got is that the public want a simple, hassle free, stream-lined method of paying for stuff online. It’s 2019! Is it really still necessary to give out our card details?

Well they’re in luck.
