KDEB Waste Management is thrilled to announce that iClean Selangor has been recognised as one of the Best Public Service Apps. This accolade serves as a testament to our commitment to revolutionising waste management practices in Selangor and improving the overall cleanliness of our beloved state. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Selangor community for their trust and support winning this honour. This award signifies our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, as we continue to harness technology, engage users, and drive innovation in waste management.
iClean Selangor has gained immense popularity with over 100,000 active registered users, making it an essential tool for residents. iClean Selangor has proven to be a game-changer in the waste management sector, bridging the gap between technology and environmental sustainability. Users can easily report waste-related issues.

iClean Selangor has had a remarkable impact on waste management practices and positive influence on Selangor’s communities. This achievement would not have been possible without the active participation and support of our dedicated user base, which has embraced iClean Selangor as an essential tool for creating a cleaner, greener Selangor.
We believe that one of the reasons that the iClean Selangor app has been so well received is because of its ease of installation, registration, and use. iClean Selangor is available on the Android and iOS platforms, and can be found on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. But you can also find it on other app stores as well, such as V-Appstore for Vivo phones.
Registration is equally easy; you only need to provide a few personal details, including your address, phone number, email, and PBT (local government) location if you are a new user, choose an appropriate user ID and password, and log in.
One of the most popular functions of the iClean Selangor app is to notify us of uncleared or uncollected waste/rubbish within any area of Selangor. This, too, is a simple procedure. One the relevant PBT location has been selected, the user simply needs to choose the appropriate sub-complaint category that best describes the issue, provide a detailed description of the complaint, including relevant information such as the location, type of waste, or any other pertinent details, and check that everything is correct before sending it off.
The complaint will be sent to the Centralised Command Centre for recording and monitoring. The iClean Selangor app allows users to capture photographs of the uncollected garbage, which will be automatically geotagged with their location. These photos will be forwarded to the Site Supervisors at the respective sites. The supervisors will review the complaints and subsequently send them to the sub-contractors responsible for the specific area. Resolving the issue is the sub-contractors’ responsibility, and they will be expected to address the complaint within 24 hours.
We continue to improve the app’s user experience and meet the evolving needs of the community, KDEB Waste Management is excited to announce our plans for enhancing iClean Selangor in the coming year. Our development team is already hard at work, exploring innovative features and functionalities that will take waste management to new heights. Users can expect updates that further streamline waste reporting, enhance recycling guidance, and introduce interactive elements to encourage greater engagement and participation.

The remarkable growth of iClean Selangor, demonstrates the community’s eagerness to actively participate in waste management efforts. KDEB Waste Management acknowledges and appreciates the invaluable support of each and every user. Your active involvement, feedback, and suggestions have been instrumental in shaping the app’s success, and we are committed to nurturing this collaborative spirit as we move forward.
Together, let us build a cleaner, greener Selangor for generations to come.
