PC.com Awarded Most Supportive Media At CyberSecurity Malaysia Event



Last night, PC.com bagged the prestigious CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) Most Supportive Media Appreciation Award for the print category for its commitment in covering cybersecurity issues and creating cybersecurity awareness among the public.


The award was received by Reach Publishing Managing Editor, Selva Rajan at a media appreciation night held at the new headquarters of the agency in Menara Cyber Axis in Cyberjaya, Selangor, in conjunction with the launch of CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Collaboration Programme (CCP).

The CCP is an initiative for public-private cooperation targetting registered companies in Malaysia which offers cybersecurity products and solutions.

The CCP was officiated by Tan Chuan Ou, Secretary General Operations, Ministry of Communications and Multimedia on behalf of YBhg Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia. Also, present at the event were CSM Board of Directors President General Tan Sri Dato Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Mohamed (Rtd), YBhg and CSM Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab.

The media appreciation night saw other prominent media in the country, both online and print, receiving awards in recognition for their critical role in disseminating information and educating the community about cybersecurity’s best practices, new cyber threat trends and current issues during 2018.
