Nothing has introduced the Phone (3a) Series, featuring an upgraded camera system with optical zoom, a refined design, and improved performance. The series includes Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, both powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform and running on Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15.
Enhanced Camera System
The Phone (3a) Series features Nothing’s most advanced camera system to date:
- Phone (3a): A 50MP telephoto camera with a 50mm equivalent focal length and 2x optical zoom, supporting up to 30x ultra zoom using AI algorithms.
- Phone (3a) Pro: A periscope zoom camera with a 70mm equivalent focal length and 3x optical zoom, reaching 60x ultra zoom with AI enhancements. It also offers telemacro capture, allowing focus at just 15cm.
- Main Camera: Both models have a 50MP main sensor, with the Pro variant featuring faster autofocus and improved light sensitivity.
- Ultra-Wide Camera: A 120° field of view with an upgraded Sony sensor for better low-light performance.
- Front Camera: Phone (3a) has a 32MP sensor, while the Pro version features a 50MP front camera capable of 4K video recording with AI stabilisation.

- The Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 delivers 33% faster CPU speeds and 11% improved GPU performance compared to the Phone (2a).
- AI processing speed is 92% faster, ensuring better future-proofing.
- 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
- Peak brightness reaches 3,000 nits, a 131% increase from the Phone (2a).
Battery and Charging
- 5,000mAh battery on both models, offering up to two days of use.
- 50W fast charging, providing 50% battery in under 20 minutes.
Nothing OS and Essential Space
- Nothing OS 3.1 introduces improved stability, customisation, and AI-powered Essential Space for notes and content capture.
- Essential Key allows instant access to Essential Space with a press.
- Three years of Android updates and six years of security updates.
