Malaysians have had a long relationship with the Nokia brand. Nearly everyone has owned one at one point, but when the iPhone came along, it demolished the brand.

Now that HMD Global have decided to create Androids with the Nokia brand, there’s a chance for a real return to form. According to sources, Nokia’s return to Malaysia with Android-powered phones and tablets might come as soon as April 2017!

But with so little information to go on, it’s difficult to say how big the comeback will be. Perhaps only those nostalgic for the brand will forgo a Samsung or iPhone alternative.
