Next-Gen Samsung Screens: Smarter, Greener, And Bigger Than Ever

Samsung Electronics has introduced its next-generation AI-powered commercial displays at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, featuring advancements in energy efficiency, interactivity, and immersive visuals.

Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business Hoon Chung said the new lineup, including the Samsung Color E-Paper, AI-driven SmartThings Pro, and the supersized 115” Smart Signage, aims to balance market demand for energy efficiency and device management with the need for immersive experiences.

The Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX model) is designed as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional promotional materials. It operates at near-zero power when displaying static images and consumes significantly less energy during transitions. Available in multiple sizes, including a 75” 5K outdoor version, it features a rechargeable battery, USB-C ports, and wireless connectivity. Samsung has also incorporated over 50% recycled plastics in its casing and entirely paper-based packaging.

The AI-powered SmartThings Pro platform introduces Interactive View, which converts 2D floor plans into 3D visualisations for easier navigation. It also offers automation controls that adjust power, brightness, and volume based on ambient lighting and occupancy. Samsung Smart Signage now features CryptoCore, a FIPS 140-3-certified encryption module ensuring secure IoT connections.

The 2025 Interactive Display (WAFX-P model), powered by Android OS 15, enhances education and collaboration with features like Circle to Search for image recognition and AI Summary for automatic recaps of meetings and lectures.

Samsung has also expanded its Smart Signage lineup with a 115” 4K display (QHFX model), which supports multi-view functionality for up to four content streams. Designed to replace traditional video walls, it features QLED 4K resolution, 700 nits brightness, and seamless integration with SmartThings Pro.

These innovations highlight Samsung’s focus on AI-driven efficiency, sustainability, and enhanced user experiences in commercial display solutions.
