Popular streaming service provider, Netflix has just announced a price increase for its plan starting with a hike on the two device and the four device plan.

These are two of its most subscribed plans at the moment, currently at US$9.99 will now be priced at US$10.99 while the four device which includes 4K ultra video will be US$13.99 from US$11.99. According to news, this is the first time Netflix is raising its service fees and the 10% should not impact customers much who have been enjoying top quality shows from the provider.

What we can guess for now is, there could be price changes to countries other than America so we here in Malaysia will have to brace for an increase. This will add to the already suggested Government service Tax which will soon be imposed by customs on digital services including streaming services.

But if you’re addicted to House of Cards, Narcos, Black Mirror and Star Trek Discovery like us, than its a price we are willing to pay.
