Neta V Unveiled: Malaysia Welcomes The Arrival Of Another Chinese EV Car

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 October, 2023 – In an eagerly anticipated move, the launch of the Neta V in Malaysia marked a significant milestone in the nation’s journey towards sustainable mobility. 

With the event hosted by Intro Synergy, a subsidiary of GoAuto Group, the introduction of the Neta V brought forth a new era of accessible and eco-friendly electric vehicles to the Malaysian automotive landscape.

Priced at RM100,000 on-the-road without insurance, the Neta V entices consumers with its comprehensive warranty packages, offering a five-year warranty for general components, a 10-year warranty for the body, and an eight-year warranty for high-voltage components such as the battery and onboard charger.

Measuring 4,070 mm in length, 1,690 mm in width, and 1,540 mm in height, the Neta V boasts a spacious interior, complemented by a boot space of 335 litres, expandable to 552 litres with the rear seats folded down.

Equipped with a CATL-sourced ternary lithium battery, the Neta V showcases its exceptional energy capacity of 38.54 kWh, providing an impressive range of 380 km following the NEDC standard. 

Its robust electric motor, generating 95 PS (94 hp or 70 kW) and 160 Nm of torque, enables a top speed of 120 km/h and an acceleration time of 3.9 seconds from 0-50 km/h.

The Neta V’s features include 16-inch alloys, automatic halogen projector headlamps, keyless entry and start, a 12-inch digital instrument panel, and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen for infotainment needs. 

Safety measures comprise ABS, EBD, brake assist, traction control, and ESC, supplemented by hill start assist, a tyre pressure monitor, and passive cruise control.

The NETA V supports both AC (Type 2) and DC (CCS2) charging, with DC charging enabling a 20-80% state of charge in just 30 minutes at 100 kW. On the other hand, AC charging has a maximum capacity of 6.6 kW, requiring a total of eight hours for a full charge.

NETA has also expanded its network of dealers and service centers across key regions of Malaysia, including the Klang Valley, northern, southern, and eastern regions of the Peninsula, as well as in Sabah. 

The brand remains committed to further expanding this network, ensuring wider accessibility for customers as it continues to gain traction within the market segment.

Buyers of the Neta V are presented with two appealing package options, including the EV Starter Package and an interest-free package of up to seven years, both designed to enhance the overall ownership experience. 

Additionally, plans for local assembly in Negeri Sembilan underscore the brand’s commitment to establishing a sustainable presence in the Malaysian market.
