MSI launches latest series of notebooks

MSI invited us for the launch of their latest series of notebooks at Bean Brothers, Sunway Damansara. The launch includes two of their new content creating notebooks; P series, a workstation; W series and a gaming notebook; G series.

Starting off with the P series, the two new notebooks are the P65 Creator and P42 Modern. Both can support up to Intel’s 8th Gen i7 processors. The P65 features DDR4 RAM at a speed of 2666MHz where as DDR4 RAM at 2400MHz for the P42. Moreover, both has a slim bezel display with the latter sporting a large 15.6 inch display and 14 inch for the former. The P65 is the heaviest at 1.88kg as compared to the P42 which weighs at an outstanding 1.19kg.

Moving on to the Workstation, the WS65 is a powerful workstation which houses the 8th Gen Intel i9 processor paired to NVIDIA Quadro P4200 graphics. This notebook packs some serious specifications for an ultra portable workstation. It has a 15.6 inch ultra slim bezel display inside the slim and portable notebook. MSI claims the WS65 is now 40% faster which can provide up to 8 hours of battery life.

Lastly, the GE75 Raider is a new gaming laptop from MSI which has a massive 17 inch slim bezel display. This beast has the 144Hz refresh rate display and 3ms response time to satisfy your eyes when gaming. It can support up to Intel’s 8th Gen i7 processors paired to either a GTX1070 8GB GDDR5 or GTX1060 6GB GDDR5. The keyboard on this laptop features per-key RGB LED gaming keyboard by SteelSeries. The GE75 weighs at 2.7kg, which obviously isn’t a light gaming laptop.
