WeChat Pay MY announced that it will be adding more ‘Ong’ for its users in Malaysia this Chinese New Year with two fantastic giveaways. The special festive promotion that runs from January 28, 2019 right up to February 17, 2019 will see lucky WeChat Pay MY users enjoy various cash coupons and money packets. Throughout the promotional period, lucky users can stand to win up to over RM5000 just by using the payment services of WeChat Pay MY.

Special Coupons Anytime you use WeChat Pay MY

Users of WeChat Pay MY are immediately rewarded as soon as they scan a dedicated QR code to access the WeChat Pay MY landing page. Below are the simple ways users can receive coupons on their WeChat Pay MY wallets:

Each of the users can immediately claim a coupon of RM2 on the landing page.
Topping up his or her WeChat Pay MY wallet with a minimum of RM10 or more will
allow them to redeem an additional coupon of RM5.

Each WeChat Pay MY user will have a chance to receive up to RM88 WeChat red packet per transaction, maximum 3 times per day, and RM5,544 throughout the 21-day promotional period between January 28, 2019 and February 17, 2019 (inclusive).

Users who successfully bind a new debit card to their WeChat Pay MY accounts will also
enjoy another coupon of RM5.

In total, users have a chance to receive up to RM12 just by using their WeChat Pay MY wallets for transactions. The coupons they receive can be ulitised at all WeChat Pay MY’s merchants (subject to a minimum spending of RM10) making the rewards easy and convenient to enjoy.

Shake and Win Money Packets

The second promotion that will be running simultaneously is sure to get users excited. For a chance to try their luck during the Chinese New Year celebrations, users can look forward to the WeChat Pay Shake Bonus.

Anytime, during the promotional period, someone spends RM5 or above through WeChat Pay MY, they can immediately participate in the Shake Bonus and stand a chance to receive a coupon worth up to RM66 or receive a Money Packet of up to RM88.

Each of the coupons will be valid for 14 days from the day it is received and only one coupon can be used during a transaction. If a user racks up more than one coupon in his WeChat Pay MY wallet, the one with the highest value will automatically be used first whilst the coupon that expires first will be utilised first if the user has more than one coupon of similar value.

For those who win the Money Packets, they will have the value of the Money Packets added to their existing credit in the WeChat Pay MY wallet.

Take note though, the Money Packet will expire if the user does not ‘open’ the packet. With so much ‘Fatt’ awaiting them, users are allowed to try their luck at the Shake Bonus up to three times a day on a first-come-first-served basis.
