During the official announcement, it was revealed that the M5 World Championship, the much-anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports event, will be hosted through a collaboration between MOONTON Games and the Philippines Department of Tourism (DOT). 

The agreement solidifies the event’s framework, with the Wild Card set for Malaysia, the Group Stage and Knockout Stage I at the EVM Convention Center, and the Knockout Stage II and Grand Finals at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila. 

Early bird ticket bundles, including the PH Super Pass and MVP Pass, were also unveiled for purchase, providing attendees with access to multiple stages of the tournament. Both Logan Shaw, MOONTON Games PH Esports Head, and Atty. 

Mae Elaine Bathan, DOT Chief of Staff, expressed their excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the event’s potential to unite the local and global gaming communities and to bolster the Philippines’ sports tourism landscape.
