Monster Hunter World on the PC is a little behind its console counterparts due to a staggered release. However, it looks like Capcom is finally rolling along with adding some of the first updates that came to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This includes the mighty Deviljho, a unique monster that will prowl the game’s various biomes.

If you do decide to track down this fearsome creature, a successful hunt will yield materials that allow you to craft new sets of Deviljho-themed equipment and weaponry. Successfully defeating the Deviljho will also unlock the Dragonproof Mantle, which is great for reducing dragon damage and preventing the dragonblight debuff.
The Deviljho will invade 6-star and 7-star quests, as well as high-rank expeditions. However, you will have to complete the investigation for the “??? Rathian” in the main story first. Once completed, you will unlock the Deviljho special assignment. Keep in mind that you must also be at least Hunter Rank 12 for this, though it’s not too difficult to achieve.
Head on over to the Steam page to learn more about the new content and bug fixes.
The free Deviljho update for Monster Hunter World will come to Steam on 7th September 2018. Monster Hunter World is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
