Not Going Down Anytime Soon; MoH Reports Almost 500 Covid-19 Cases Today

Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 489 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 13, 993 cases, with 3, 351 active cases as of October 7. The 489 new cases are broken down as 2 imported and 487 domestic.

74 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 10, 501. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 75.04 percent.

There are currently 40 cases being treated in the ICU, with 13 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus stays the same at a total of 141.
