Alliance Vs Empires, another MMORPG released for Android and iOS from NEXON. MMORPGS and the like often top the GooglePlay Store and iOS App Store. But the basic premise of many of these types of games are that they start you off with the pretty graphics but seem to lack more. MMORPGS haven’t attracted me as much as I would like it to. And especially on mobile. Maybe it’s just the structure of the ones I’ve tried or maybe it’s just not the genre for me.

Alliances Vs Empire has an auto play mode which seems to be well. Something I like to refer to as a lazy way to play.
The game basically does everything for you, if you don’t feel like it that is. It casts your spells or skills, hits the enemy, and moves you. Essentially you’re watching a streamer but the streamer is actually yourself. The essence of the story is lost when you just let it go on by itself.
And this in its core isn’t that bad of a thing, but when almost every game on the mobile gaming market is structured this way you want a little more originality sometimes.
These types of games also often rely on their players often refer purchase the in game currency. Gamers started calling games like this ‘P2W’ or ‘Pay to Win’. After people start to play and realize as they level up that others are stronger or have better gear, they can start to feel like it was a waste of their time. Getting the best gear, only because you bought it with real life money kind of takes away from the game, doesn’t it?
