For those who have yet to buy Microsoft Office or Office365 subscriptions, all we can say is that you’re missing out on a ton of features. Microsoft has announced Office 2019, which delivers all those tricks, we recommend that you free up some cash for it and it is available for Windows PCs and Macs.
The release was first announced at the end of 2017 and has since been available for beta testing since April 2018. In a nutshell, the Office 2019 consists of the latest but existing versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, Access, and Publisher. It is also targeted at users who have yet to purchase an Office365 subscription.
Office 2019 is a major upgrade and for a one-time payment of $149.99, it packs a whole lot of new features to Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
It also includes a long list of features that have been added to Office365 ProPlus, including the new Morph and Zoom functions in PowerPoint 2019; enhancements to PowerPivot in Excel 2019; as well as new tools such as Read Aloud, Text Spacing, Focus Mode, and Focused Inbox in Word 2019 and Outlook 2019. It also supports the roaming pencil case, pressure sensitivity, and tilt effects to assist in creating documents more seamlessly across the apps.
Microsoft has also taken the opportunity to announce that its servers will be given several updates. The updates for Exchange Server 2019, Skype for Business Server 2019, SharePoint Server 2019, and Project Server 2019 will soon be released in the coming weeks.
