Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 317 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12, 088 cases, with 1,735 active cases as of October 3. The 317  new cases are broken down as 0 imported and 317 domestic.

121 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 10,216. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 84.52 percent.

There are currently 29 cases being treated in the ICU, with 4 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 1 to a total of 137.
