With the craze reaching fever pitch, Pokemon Go is in Malaysia has so far received both rave reviews and concerns for certain parties. The mobile game is fun to play with multiple level of experience offered for players, bringing them outdoors to catch augmented monsters from the popular game series. However as many would have read about the possible mishaps chasing for the creatures, local multimedia agency MCMC has come out with a safety guideline for playing the game.
The government agency would like to highlight the potential risks and sensitivity of trespassing that could involve during playing. In a released statement, the public guideline is to prevent untoward incidents from occurring like robbery, theft or accidents, all cases that have been reported globally. Included are also tips to players on private data policy, sensitivity on places of worship, entering forbidden zones and being wary of posers.
