Maybank’s entry into the eWallet game seems to be doing quite well. It’s MAE eWallet just hit 1 million users and to commemorate this achievement, or.. momentous achievement as literally every emcee at events would say, they’re doing a cashback promo!
For the next 24 hours (10am today till 9:59am tomorrow) Maybank is giving users the chance to get RM5 cashback when they transact a minimum of RM10 via QRPay using the Maybank app at participating outlets. Of course, there are terms and conditions and for obvious reasons, users are can only claim the cashback once. Maybank has apparently allocated RM1500000 for the promo, which essentially equates to it being eligible for 300,000 people (if my math is right that is, and tbh it rarely ever is).
To complement the cashback, MAE is also offering its users free bubble tea! All you’ve gotta do is flash your MAE eWallet at The Black Whale in.. you guessed it, SS15. The bubble tea promo will happen from 2pm-6pm on the 20th of October and is limited to the first 500 redemptions, so you might want to get there early if you’re a boba fanatic.
