Logitech has just launched a new accessory for the fifth and sixth generation iPads for the Malaysian market. The Logitech Slim Folio is designed to snap-on to the tablet, while adding minimal bulk while in use and while stored for transport.

There was some changes in design on the Slim Folio when compared to the previous generation. It has been bulked up in strategic corners to help absorb more force if the tablet slips off the table. Logitech changed the surface of the keys, resulting in a glossier finish, and it has also added a sleeve for the Apple Pencil, should the owner has a unit lying around.

Like the older keyboard, the new Slim Folio connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. It retains the magnetic lock to keep the two halves together while in storage, and the battery life is rated at four years – at least on paper.

Logitech has set the price of the new Slim Folio at RM449, and it is available now from all authorised Logitech resellers and dealers around
