Wireless appears to be the word of 2013. Which isn’t surprising, and something quite pleasant. Yes, these device might need a little more forethought and charging. But the freedom afforded is worth it.
This particular set of headphones aren’t completely free from wires and cables. Although, Logitech has been very considerate in this respect. The USB charging cable is built into a spool that also acts as a dock for the WiFi dongle. No more untangling wires, unless you’re that special kind of person.
The WiFI dongle is also quite large. Unlike the version that is packed with their wireless peripherals. I find it odd that they haven’t built the same thing, but it works. Unfortunately, the size means that you will have to unplug it while moving around.
Being able to walk around with headphones on and not worry about yanking anything to the floor is brilliant. Especially if the sounds coming from the system are not half bad. This isn’t your top of the line set of phones with the best drivers that money can buy, but you won’t be disappointed either. Bass is occasionally flat, but chances are you’ll be using these to game without disturbing anyone.
