Limkokwing University’s Twitter Page Has More Followers than Harvard

Limkokwing announced recently that it is the first Malaysian University to be on the top of the Twitter followers’ list and is the fastest moving in popularity with a weekly growth average of +30,000 likes, moving three times faster than Harvard University. These rankings, particularly the sustained upward movement by the University over the last several years with its recognition as a 21st Century ready University, show Limkokwing University’s continuation of excellence worldwide.

Data from the Twitter Analytics page showed that Limkokwing University currently has 648K followers, even beating some Ivy League Universities. Based on the Socialbakers’ social media analytics page, Limkokwing University has the highest number of Twitter followers among higher educational institutions in the world, surpassing even the Top 5 higher educational institutions in the US: Harvard University (637K followers), Khan Academy (511K followers), Stanford University (427K), MIT (379K followers) and Coursera (322K followers), and even the Top 2 UK Universities: Oxford University (301K followers) and Cambridge University (269K followers).
