Lenovo Innovates the Thinkpad and Has Loads More In Store at CES 2017

Lenovo today kicked off the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show with a full range of exciting products including new 2017 ThinkPad X1 laptops, a Microsoft Surface competitor called the Miix 720, Lenovo Legion Gaming Laptops, Smart Home Accessories, a AR/VR specialised Phablet, the Phab 2 Pro.

Here’s a rundown of their latest computers:

2017 ThinkPad X1 Carbon

  • Available in classic ThinkPad Black and a new silver colour, the X1 Carbon is still one of the thinnest, most durable, and lightest notebooks around. Fitting in a 14-inch IPS display into a new sleek 13-inch form factor, it weighs a mere 2.5 pounds.

  • With up to 15.5 hours of battery life, it includes ThunderboltTM 3 ports, super-fast LTE-A Wireless WAN and WIFI certified WiGigTM options.
  • Enhanced security features with Match-on-Chip fingerprint sensor that handles biometric processing secures and simplifies the Windows Hello logon experience with a new face recognition Infrared camera.

 

The updated ThinkPad X1 Yoga is also available in new metallic silver and delivers stunning visuals with a 14-inch OLED screen. A redesigned rechargeable ThinkPad Pen Pro and improved ‘rise and fall” keyboard completes the new ThinkPad experience.

Alongside is the ThinkPad X1 Tablet, continuing to impress with its 2-in-1 lightweight modularity. The device has unique modules that offer port expansion and up to 5 hours extra battery life, as well as an integrated projection option for a seamless presentation experience.

Chic and versatile, the Miix 720 Windows® detachable includes an ultra-crisp 12-inch QHD+ display and precision touchpad-enabled keyboard with up to 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor and Thunderbolt™ 3.

Need to hit the road? Instantly transform the Miix 720 into a feature-rich touchscreen tablet by removing the keyboard. Paired with a multifaceted Lenovo Active Pen 2, you can take notes effortlessly and bring creative concepts to life.

When it’s time to relax, the integrated infrared camera with Windows Hello™ facial recognition allows you to settle in for an evening session of your favourite show – all without the hassle of having to re-type your password. The up to 150-degree tablet kickstand easily adjusts to your preferred viewing angle, ensuring an evening of comfort and entertainment.
