Samsung’s latest addition to the Galaxy Note 10 lineup is coming up, and this time they’re bringing a budget variant, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. But before they’ve even got a chance to do anything, leaked photos have showed up and confirmed some details about the budget Note 10.

The first differentiator would be the screen. The Note 10 Lite seems to come with a flat display with a punch-hole selfie camera, rather than a dual-curved display. I for one, am all for that because I’m not the biggest fan of curved/waterfall displays. According to Roland Quandt, a leakster, he claims that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will feature a 6.7″ FHD+ SuperAMOLED panel, which is slightly smaller than the Note 10+. Which is to be expected.

It also comes with a bigger battery, a 4500 mAh capacity, has 25W fast charging with USB C, and the S Pen. That’s the biggest takeaway I think, for a budget Note device, is that it still has the S Pen. It’s said to be connected via Bluetooth 5.0, but don’t be surprised if it’s missing some of the advanced gesture controls you’ve seen from the Note 10 and Note 10+.

Another biggie is the fact that the camera setup in the back is kinda similar to other smartphone manufacturers. It comes with a squareish-rectangular camera bump, similar to the Google Pixel 4 and even sort of iPhone 11 lineup. Reportedly, the Note 10 Lite will be using 12MP sensors for the main cam, ultra-wide angle lens and telephoto cam.  It’s not bad but it’s not great either.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is slated to go for EUR 609 (~RM2700). It could go for lower if it came to Malaysia, and honestly, it would be quite a deal.
