JobStreet.com improves their mobile app.

Want to know if your job application on JobStreet has been viewed by potential employers but you’re constantly on the move? Well fret no longer as Jobstreet.com has introduced features that allow candidates to receive “reviewed” and “job interview invite” notifications on their smartphones.

This feature, which is currently available on iOS devices and will soon be available for Android devices, allows the 15 million JobStreet users in Southeast Asia to receive push notifications anytime, anywhere when their applications are reviewed by employers. Candidates will receive interview notifications when employers use JobStreet.com to schedule interviews and they will be able to respond immediately to the request via the mobile app.

Apart from the new JobStreet mobile app features, JobStreet.com has also made available the “compare against other applications” feature. This feature allows candidates to view the number of applicants who have applied for the same job, allowing them to do a side-by-side comparison between other applicants in terms of position title, expected salary, experience, education level and field specialisation, allowing for more transparency when applying for jobs.
