Apple’s latest lineup of phones – the XR, XS and XS Max – packs the punch which supposedly skyrocket the company’s sales. Unfortunately, the sales for all three of the latest iPhones are plummeting due to the lower demands.

With the introduction of the latest lineup of iPhones, Apple stopped the production of the iPhone X. The key differences between the predecessor and the successor are mostly internal and not much on the external. Due to the lower demands for the latest iPhones, Apple may fall shot of fulfilling the contract with Samsung to purchase an agreed number of OLED panels.

To ensure there is no contract breaches, Apple has to restart the production of iPhone X. In addition to that, Apple reported that manufacturing older iPhones are cheaper than the newer ones and it will still bring the company a decent profit.

Initially, Apple expected the iPhone XR to be the most popular choice among the three. However, they had to slow down the production rate for the XR as it wasn’t selling well. With prices of the iPhone increasing every year, could it be the contributing factor for sales going down?
