The numbers doesn’t lie – the Apple iPhone 7 is the most popular smartphone in the first quarter of 2017. Surprisingly however is the other name in the list – the Oppo R9s. As mentioned from the research firm Strategy Analytics, the top three spots hails from the US and China.
Over 353 million units of smartphones was sold during the quarter according to Strategy Analytics. Within that time period, the five top smartphone are as follow:
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 Plus
- Oppo R9s
- Samsung Galaxy J3
- Samsung Galaxy J5
A surprising list isn’t it? According to the same report, the iPhone 7 leads the way with 21.5 million units, followed by the iPhone 7 Plus (17.4 million) and the Oppo R9s with 8.9 million units.
