Intel has just announced the release of six new solid state drives, ranging from SSD 600 series for consumer use, the business Pro 6000p series and for data centres the DC P3520 and DC S3520 series, while two embedded models were also introduced.
The 3D NAND SSD family of products are uniquely designed for a broad set of applications, with the combined technology of PCIe the new SSDs are able to push the limits. The SSD 600 series for consumer use, comes in 128 right up to 1024 GB in capacity also worth noting the flash memory is able to read at 1800 megabytes and sequential write of 560 megabytes per second-3x times better than SATA SSDs.

Battery life is also extended when using the new SSD 6, by using low powed modes idle consumption is reduced by 90% compared to typical hard disk drives. Intel offers 5 years limited warranty on the new series of NAND flash.
