Illegear announces their first ever desktop machine – the TROIKA

Good things comes in threes, and the new Illegar TROIKA certainly ticks the boxes for something unique and in threes.

The TROIKA is a desktop, but in a case that is split into three. The main body, called the System Zone, houses the heart of the computer. It can fit a mini-ITX motherboard only as the space is a bit limited. Don’t let that fool you however as the mini-ITX motherboard can be either a high-end Intel 7th generation system, or in the near future AMD Ryzen boards as options. The machine will also utilize ILLEGEAR’s own AIO water cooling for the CPU, so no worries about the cooler not fitting in the case.

For storage, there is the Storage Zone, with support for up to two full-sized 3.5” traditional hard drives, one M.2 PCIe SSD drive and also a thin optical disc drive together with a full-scale, high-output ATX-type power supply. In the GPU Zone, users can opt for full-sized graphic cards (like the NVIDIA 1080ti) to power their gaming needs. Also in the zone are spaces for three 2.5″ drives for more storage on tap.

Starting from RM5,999, TROIKA comes equipped with Intel Core i5-7400 processor and Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 AMP SE 6GB GDDR5, Windows 10 Home Single Language, 8GB CRUCIAL DDR4 2400MHz RAM, 120GB SATA SSD, 1TB 3.5” TOSHIBA HDD and 8265 2×2 Wireless-AC by default.

User can also opt for tempered-glass edition at RM399 extra. TROIKA comes with 2-year warranty, users can opt for another year of warranty extension at RM199.
