It is now quite a big trend to have a laptop with high mobility, in other words, a laptop that you can bring anywhere with ease. And laptop developers are all racing towards making the smallest or the thinnest laptop possible by mankind. So far, Acer have reached under 1cm thick with their latest Acer Swift 7, unveiled at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany.

It also has a Corning Gorilla Glass protecting it from crashes or drops. It still has a 14 inch 1080p display that is gorgeous with a black and gold design. Acer is breaking new grounds with this new laptop and people can now have a laptop that they can carry anywhere with just one hand as it weighs only 1.1kg.

Acer manage to slip-in an Intel Core i7 generation processor into this little machine making it high performance despite its small size and thin body. Acer says that the Swift 7 will start at $999 or €1,299 (around £1,100) in Europe, when it’s due to arrive in October.
