Thanks to a filing at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Europe, two new smartwatch brands from Huawei are now expected to be launched soon. The Huawei Watch GT and Honor Watch looks to join the Huawei Watch 2 2018 in the Chinese company’s smartwatch lineup.
Information on the two smartwatches are scarce right now. As a recap, the Huawei Watch 2 supports a SIM card (for the 4G LTE version) for untethered calls and messages, a 7-hour long battery life, 4GB storage as well as IP68 water and dust resistance.
We could expect the same features in the Honor Watch, as Huawei has traditionally trickle-down features and design from its mainstream line to the honor sub-brand. For the Huawei Watch GT, it should be heading the smartwatch division as its flagship. The recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 may be featured as the SoC of choice as well.
No other info has been leaked for the two smartwatches. We may see the Huawei Watch GT be launched alongside the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series in London as an accompanying accessory to the large smartphone.
