Huawei had announced their EMUI 10 update, which was based on Android 10 last year. Now they’ve announced the rollout schedule for the stable EMUI 10, and it starts off with the Huawei P30 lineup. Even though they’ve had their problems with Google and the Android ecosystem in the past year, these devices aren’t as affected, like their new devices. The EMUI 10 update will be bringing features from Android 10 like dark mode and new gesture navigation, along with Huawei’s own interface updates and security/performance improvements.
All the devices on the list were released before the ban from the U.S. which probably explains the fact that the Huawei Mate 30 series isn’t on the list. It was to be expected, but still, sad to see that this whole turmoil with the U.S. and China have still affected users and consumers the most out of everybody. But anyway, Huawei listed six devices which will be getting the EMUI 10 update this month, and a list of other devices which are scheduled to release in “later months”
