For the first time consumers in Malaysia will get a feel for Huawei’s other high profile product that does not fit in a pocket. The MateBook notebooks are finally arriving in the country with the newly announced Matebook X Pro and a sibling the Matebook D, both made their debut at the London premier of Huawei mate P20 smartphone.
While we already know about the Matebook X Pro the much low key Matebook D is targeted at first time users like students, featuring a 14 inch display and an 81% screen-to-body ratio, the notebook with 5.2mm bezel uses fingerprint login which in embedded into the power button.
Taking into consideration of the potential user base, a larger battery capacity of 57.4WHr is fitted giving 12 hours of video playback, 13 hours of assignment work and 12 hours of web browsing and even supports USB-type C for quick charging.
In terms of audio there’s the quad-speaker system and has the power capability supplied by Intel’s 8th Generation Core processors. Rumours are rife that Huawei Malaysia will be launching both models together with the Mate 20.
