Huawei Celebrates Reaching 10 Million P9 Model Shipment

Huawei is in celebratory mood after achieving a phenomenal year, capping the end of 12 months with the premium flagship smartphone P9 and P9 Plus recording a staggering 1o million unit sold since launch.

Despite a sluggish global smartphone market in 2016, the two iconic models using German lens expert camera design, Leica which the venture seems to have worked off the Chinese brand, has manged to see an increase in sales while the top two global brands saw a decline. Both Samsung and Apple witnessed dips in their shipment. Apple’s iPhone 7 reached over 45 million in sales while Samsung would not complain since since the BatteryGate incident involving its second flagship the Galaxy Note 7, and still still to chalk up over 25 million in units sold for the S7.

First revealed in April 2016, the dual-lens Huawei P9/P9 Plus devices were Huawei’s first flagship smartphones to be developed in collaboration incorporating third party lens manufacturers,  which has set a new benchmark for advanced smartphone camera technology that has delivered outstanding photography results and worked well for the up and coming brand.
