HP recently shared important information from its Smart Where IT Matters Study, showing that many Millennials (27 to 42-years-old) and Gen X (43 to 58-years-old) in Malaysia see technology as crucial for their businesses.
This research performed by Kantar surveyed approximately 1,200 micro business owner to study the use of technology for micro business in Southeast Asia.
In the study, they noticed that Baby Boomers (59-years-old and above) and Gen Z (19 to 26-years-old) were more unsure about using technology for business compared to other groups.
Meanwhile in Malaysia, similar concern arise by a significant portion of Gen X (43 to 58-years-old), reflecting worries about the costs related to technology investments.
Additionally, the study found out that more than 70% of small business in the area worry about how complicated and safe new technologies are, showing the ongoing issues business owners deal with when thinking about new investments.
In light of these results, HP highlighted the importance of easy-to-use and convenient technology solutions.
They pointed to their HP Smart Tank 700 and 500 Series printer as examples, mentioning that these technologies are helpful, efficient, and cost-effective for small businesses.
HP also showcased its Office-In-A-Box, which offers affordable and customizable solutions for businesses looking for practical technology options.
HP emphasized its dedication to creating technology that is dependable, secure, and environmentally friendly, aiming to be a trusted resource for small businesses navigating the digital world with confidence and ease.
